Cheer Abilities (Special Needs)

Phoenix Elite is very proud to be the home of BLAZE! Blaze is our team for athletes with special needs of all varieties and has no limitation on age. Coach Holly started this team in 2014 and is a strong advocate for these athletes to have a “typical” experience with cheer as possible. The team will attend approximately 3 local area competitions to perform their routine.

Learning skills, basic body control, independence, and taking responsibility for learning a routine are just a few of the things that are focused on throughout the season. Other athletes at the gym volunteer their time to be junior coaches or “buddies” for the athletes on the team so one on one attention is provided and utilized as needed. Above all, FUN is at the top of the priority list!

We will not be taking any new athletes after Oct 6th

Monthly tuition: $20

Uniform fee: Approximately $100
